One buyer win an item and did not pay, I sent her several messages, but she did not respond. 7 days later, I canceled the sale. Later, I went to the buyer's feedback and found that she had more than 10 of seller's complaints which described her behavior as "never paid, never respond", however, the buyer's feedback is still positive. How come eBay not allow seller to leave negative or neutral feedback? So, what is the purpose of leaving feedback?

"Because the person with the most feedback in a transaction becomes the winner in a dispute . . ."?
Where do you get your information?
And BTW, the rule that states buyers cannot ever leave negative for buyers is by no means a new thing, but is at least 10 years old.
Otherwise, I agree with your post.

eBay clearly didn't do a good enough job spreading the word about the feedback change a decade ago.
I'm always confused when someone with an older account is surprised that buyers can't be left negatives or neutrals. I would understand a little more if the account had never had any activity over the past 10 years.
