Why am I getting weird totals on the seller hub?

We sold an item for $270. It had free shipping and no sales tax was charged. My graph shows sales of $289.24.

I know it says totals include shipping and tax but that doesn't apply here. This has been going on for awhile.

Is Ebay trying to make things look better than they are?

How do you know that no sales tax was charged? I don't think we can see it on our end except in exactly where you are looking. 

I agree it shouldn't be there, if sellers don't pay attention and use those numbers they are going to have skewed sales totals.

It shows (or used to) on the sales record if tax was collected. The sale was to MN.
