FedEx is having HUGE issues with their business. One issue is low revenue...How do you think they will make up for this lost revenue?
Enforcing higher costs on the shipper!!
Have you noticed recently any charges that were 2-3 times more than the quoted price for shipping?
Of course you will be told to read the 200 page guide to using FedEx because that is practical...That and ALL guides is nothing more than how companies can legally over charge you and get away with it...Have you ever noticed them looking out for you in those guides? Nope!
UPS has NEVER overcharged me like FedEx has, and after this last time, and reading the many issues that company is having it only makes sense they would over charge and expect people to continue using their service.
What FedEx is maybe not realizing is that many people are using alternative services and no longer using them after being burnt over and over again!
The last thing companies should do is punish their customers. The over charge amounts are so excessive they go beyond 'Added charges' and sometimes cost more than the entire price of the item shipped.
I would STRONGLY encourage sellers to avoid FedEx at all costs because they WILL get you with these over charges, and if you try to contact them they will tell you to read the 200 page booklet on why they can get away with it!!
