Why Australian buyers not able to complete orders?

Over the last week I have had several buyers from Australia who have not been able to complete their orders. They have informed me that when they try to complete the payment they recieve a message that says there are no shipping options to Australia. The only option to complete these buyers orders is by sending them an invoice...but on the invoice, the Global Shipping Program is not available. The invoice does offer Ebay International Standard Delivery but I would rather use GSP.

Australia is the only country I have had problems with. Other GSPS orders from other countries have been going through successfully.

The only option on my listings for international shipping is through the Global Shipping Program I checked my listings and I have made sure that Global Shipping Program is enabled, and specifically that shipping to Australia is an available option.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this so that buyers are able to successfully place an order and complete payment with GSP as shipping option? Thank you!

I've had the same thing happen to me a few months ago.

There was nothing i could do except tell the interested buyer to contact ebay.

@dilansdeals

Possibly the problem is related to this:

Australia does appear on the list of countries that have delayed GSP shipments.

It might be worth providing an alternative shipping method to your Australian customers.

I wouldn't use the new ebay Standard International, I'd just send the buyer an invoice and ship direct.

You might want to make sure it isn't a scam to get you to sell/ship off-ebay.  One or two buyers, using multiple accounts, could look like a number of buyers that 'can't pay'.  And, having only one country where it is happening, could be a red flag.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.
