I've gotten plenty of offers as an "interested buyer" but I do not recall ever seeing a message that is associated with these offers. Just want to know if my offer messages that I am sending out are being seen.

That seems to be the default if the seller does not provide a specific message. An offer from a UK seller had the same message, but no exclamation point, only a period.
Looking back further, I did find one that appears to be customized, or is different, at least.
Message from [seller]:
No pressure, just a friendly offer!!
