Did somebody forget to put out the "open" sign? Are we closed? I can't support a family on this! I've been working hard to keep my site updated. I add new listings constantly. I use promotions above the "suggested rate".
Where are the customers? They were just here not to long ago.
Or is it just me?
Sincerely,
A man with 3 children to feed... Including one that's only 6 months old.
P.S. Please fix whatever is broken.

Agree that there is a lag time (that is a fact with software upgrades and roll outs) and that that accounts for much of what we see here.
But there is no question that politics serves as the overall backdrop. eBay has all but admitted as much.

- Selling ID did not show item.
- Buying ID did show item.
Have you tried it more recently?
Pretty much right, first found on selling ID, second time (different browser) not found on buying ID. Yes, it has happened before earlier, but I the first time I noticed I thought maybe it was me and I got my search terms messed up. Usually just search for buying stuff on buying ID and no redo of search needed.

Exactly, Most of us probable sell 1 off's so why are we going to use pay per click? What are they thinking?

The problem is simply that Ebay was never built to compete. It was built to provide a service though it has long been questionable about the quality of that service.
20 years ago, Ebay got away with it because it had no real competition, and they pretty much left sellers alone to conduct business and they reaped the benefit of that relationship. Now they are faced with endless competition from a myriad of competitors, many of whom actually stock products to sell. Whereas Ebay stocks nothing, sells nothing (beyond ad space), has no control over product availability or pricing, and can barely mitigate shipping costs which are exploding and endlessly meddle in seller affairs.
As an example, I used to buy Kobalt's "Zerust" draw liners and when I went to buy more, I found that despite the stated stock available none of the stores had any and none were sure if it was going to be in stock again. A check on Ebay found some available, but at higher cost. A look at the Zerust brand found a slightly better situation in regard to availability but even worse pricing and shipping costs bordering on the absurd.
A check at the local Home Depot finds that while they don't stock it in stores, I can order it and have it shipped to the store for free. And the cost, with my discount, was less than what it would cost on this platform. Add horrible marketing and even worse customer service and is it any wonder that Ebay went from being the place to go to being just another place to look at...maybe.

Yep, we're 20+ year sellers with a pretty eclectic store, something for literally everyone. We are consistent, list hard and provide a decent array. We use to get on Ebays ridiculous new algorithm 2 weeks a month, then to one week a month, and now it's crickets. When we are "allowed" to be in the algorithm, we will sell in at least 20 different categories, so I'm extremely convinced us dedicated hard working middle class aren't allowed the same chances as say brand name shoes, sports cards, and clothing/accessories and new sellers. I rarely deal in these areas, but I am in probably 500 categories. There is no reason my stuff shouldn't be seen. And I'm sure all of us who treat this like a business are going through the same things. When I have a good week, I have a VERY GOOD week. I've supported my family for 20+ years with ebay paying our bills alone, while my husband works to pay everything else and find us inventory. The decline is epic and an obvious problem. We are not Amazon, we sell completely different things as a community on Ebay. Yet we are competing with Amazon when there's no reason to. Ebay needs a new management company.

On the item you have listed "Vintage Enco Micrometer Model 600-01 in Case 0-1" .0001" Used Engraved" Why do you not have pictures of the outside of the case? Some of your prices are high on some of your items. I'm not talking a little high either. take
"Vintage 1990s Hakeem The Dream Olajuwon MVP 2XL NBA Basketball Stats T Shirt HTF"
For example that's a crazy price and then you want a set shipping price for that shirt... No sorry you need to a second look at what you are asking for what you are selling. @anothermanstreasures11
Price, Price, and Price! are what matters on ebay
