What to do if i sent package 2in1 when buyer bought 2 diff things and now one payment is on hold.

First, I would like to start with how bad ebay customer service is, I hope ebay understand that they little AI assistant gets literally nothing done for 90% of people. But back to the main point, a buyer bought from me 2 items, the same buyer. Me being new to ebay didn't realize this and ended up shipping the packages in 1. I only received payment for one as I didn't know I had to ship separately, what can I do now, Buyer confirmed with me personally that he received the payments.

Omg tysm, so now that I have added both tracking numbers to the item the second item I never received payments for. I can expect it in a few days?

Okay, to be clear, that second item should have been flagged as "Ready to Ship" when you first found it on your Sold Items screen, because eBay is not going to indicate "Ready to Ship" unless they received payment for it. If so, then they will release the funds to you soon.

You're a new seller, so I think they're going to hold all the buyer payments for a while until they can see successful deliveries and happy buyers. You can purchase your shipping labels through eBay in order to buy the postage using a portion of those held funds.

Just as a general observation on your listings: be careful to open your auctions with a price that you would be willing to sell for if you only ever got one bid, and then every bid after that is gravy. 99¢ auctions can be very risky unless you're confident that the bidding will go higher.

Also avoid using AI text descriptions, which can range from being simply puffery to being factually wrong. Write your descriptions yourself, in your own words, and be clear about your item's condition and whether there are any issues the buyer should know about. That's all anyone wants to know about your items for sale. Buyers will recognize descriptions written in your own voice vs. those generated by a computer of dubious accuracy. Good luck.
