All the drop shipping promises are imaginary pots of gold at the end of the rainbow, just people trying to sell you on an idea that might have worked 10 years ago. The only people making money are the YouTube prophets and the software companies trying to sell you their products.
You will make more money flipping burgers at McDonalds. eBay is a tough gig.

You are unlikely to find encouragement for drop shipping on this forum. Especially if you use a retailer to drop ship. Most definitely if you attempt to sell at prices that are higher than Amazon or Walmart.

Dropshipping from other retail sites is not allowed and that's what Autods does.
Dropshipping from junk from China doesn't work out very well either.

Hi @wanomart
I would not recommend that you drop ship, it is not the get rich scheme you may think it is. Here is a link to the eBay Help Pages on drop shipping, Drop shipping and product sourcing | eBay
Make sure you read that page in detail ...

Is there a way you can mentor me? You seem to know what you're doing😅

You can get a lot of help here, but help dropshipping, you probably won't get a lot of help.
Have you found a wholesale company to buy products from that will ship to your buyers?

My suggestion would be to start selling items you have around the house that you no longer need. Eventually, you might develop expertise in a particular category and realize you have knowledge and can do well selling in that category.
If you don't know collectibles, don't try to sell them. If you don't know designer accessories, leave them to those who know them.
Learn to take pictures, write descriptions, calculate costs, and prepare listings.
It's a learn as you go process and best to start with what you know.
One "rule" that's commonly recommended is to never sell something you can't afford to lose.
Also, keep in mind that as a new seller, you'll be a magnet for scammers so be aware and careful not to fall for scams. Come back here if you have questions or concerns.

Why doesn't it work out?

I've looked at autods, but it says that there is a $100 fee, so with the holds as a new seller, it would be a burden. I've tried Zeedrop as well, and they're scammers. Please help. I would say that the best listing tool for dropshipping is a soft mallet, either leather or wood construction, with an approximately 10"-12" handle, preferably oak or hickory. If preparing to dropship, you can whack yourself in the head with the mallet until the idea goes away.
When you are dropshipping, you are competing with many other sellers to sell the same items from the same company to the same universe of buyers. It's like trying to run a McDonald's burger franchise on a street with nothing but other McDonald's franchises. All you can do is price your item below your competition, and that's just a race to the bottom.
In addition, you have to hope that if you do get a sale, your dropshipper won't mess up the order, and that it won't arrive damaged. If the buyer wants to return it, you are on the hook for a refund. At minimum, you need to take your own photos and write your own description, so that your listing doesn't look the same as all the other sellers of the same product.
Dropshipping just isn't going to work well for you, as your supplier/dropshipper is busy serving all your competition as well. Find your own items, take your own photos, write your own descriptions, and you will do much better that way. Good luck.

Hi @wanomart —eBay sellers are held accountable for shipping on time and delivering the goods as described.
If the drop-shipper fails to mail the item within the allotted time, the eBay seller gets a hit to his seller metrics. If the drop-shipper sends the wrong item, or packs poorly and the item gets damaged in transit, the eBay seller again has failed to perform, and again takes the hit to his seller metrics. Poor performance can downgrade one’s status on eBay.
With drop-shipping, you relinquish all control over the very actions you will be judged on by eBay. You must rely on your supplier not to make any mistakes. But inevitably, mistakes and problems occur.

Drop shipping is a poor business model and a very risky one. Most who try it do not last long and are either permanently banned if not for violating eBay policy directly or as a result of dismal seller performance and buyer claims/issues.
You are drop shipping items out of China and I am assuming using Temu or Ali Express for sourcing both of which have their own issues which you inherit along with others. As the seller you are responsible for the delivery of the item to the customer and any issues associated with the transaction. Consider the following scenarios and what you may be facing.
1. Item does not arrive by estimated delivery date provided to the buyer and they open a INR claim.
2. Item arrives damaged.
3. Buyer opens a return request
4. Buyer opens a chargeback
5. Your source does not have the item to ship or they ship an alternate item because they were out of stock.
You are also competing with a lot of other sellers that have bought into the idea that drop shipping is a gold mine. If I look at your following item I find 8 listings on eBay ranging in price from $26 to $147. I can also find the item on Temu for $11.98 and AliExpress for $15.89.
