I just listed an item and when I pulled it up to look at it, it says on the listing, "Want to save $15.00 on this item"? As a buyer, if you click on it, you are given a code to enter when purchasing. I'm assuming I get my full price and EBay is the one giving the buyer the $15.00 because I did not agree to any discounts. Is this something new?

I haven't seen that particular promo offer, but, yes, you'll get your full price--and you'll pay your full FVFs. You won't even know the buyer has used the discount.

Thanks! Good to know.

You might also check to see if you're getting that offer on other sellers' listings. They're usually offered only to selected buyers, so you might see it pop up. Check the details of the promo, like minimum/maximum limits, specific categories, specific sellers, etc., but you might find something to purchase! Some promos are for refurbished items only or whatnot, but at Christmas, you may be able to check another gift off your list!
