I used to use Windows Photo Viewer to quickly edit my eBay photos. I could crop a photo, press the right arrow key, and move to the next photo in the folder. I'd exit out when finished and the program would ask me if I wanted to save my changes, I'd click yes and save them all in one click. I upgraded my computer and can no longer use my old photo editor. The new Window photo editor requires far more clicks to get through a batch of photos. So, my question is: what photo editor do you use? There are many to choose from and I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks! Todd

For simple things like resizing, cropping, minor adjustments plus many other features for bulk processing....
irfanview

It's been one of the most popular freeware photo programs for more than two decades and with good reason. Very flexible and fast.

I usually use the software that came with my Kodak camera, but that camera is dying and I'll have to use something else soon. Ebay has decent editing capabilities now when uploading photos, though.

Many times Windows will allow you to use old software.
for example if you're now in Win 8,
you can right click on your program, and tell it to: Run in Windows 7 mode
..or something like that.

Depends on what I want to do.
Microsoft Picture Manager for cropping only.
Paint for combining two pictures, side by side.
Microsoft Photos for straightening and cropping, as well as adjusting contrast and brightness.

GIMP is another free open source photo-editing software. It is sort of like photoshop... sort of!
I like the free Irfanview a lot too.

Thanks. I decided to track down the old program I was used to using, Microsoft Office Picture Manager. So simple and no learning curve. I just couldn't remember exactly what it was called.
