I came to ebay 1 month ago and posted 20 items for sale. I received 5 sales. Three sales expired while waiting for payment and the other 2, ebay emailed me and said I received payment of about 10.00 into my paypal account but when I checked my paypal and bank account all I found was an ebay charge of 5.74. When I reached out to resolve these issues to ebay customer service ((866) 540-3229) I was told by a recording this is no longer a customer service phone number and that I should use the ebay websight to resolve my issue but meanwhile the websight seems to be malfunctioning. This beast known as EBAY seems to have lost contact with its keepers or its just that they dont give a dorn anymore. For me and my colleagues its good bye ebay.

New sellers are easy target to get free items and money by scammers.

Check your listing and make sure you entered the correct Pay Pal email address.

I assume you are not posting with the ID that had sales or payments made.

In general, if you are still accepting PayPal, ALWAYS log into your account to see if you have actually been paid. Never rely on any email or ebay message, since they can be fake. Never reply to a "text me" scammer that will contact you via the ebay message system.

If you have a buyer or winning bidder of record, and they do not pay, you need to file the Unpaid Item Dispute (soon to renamed cancel for non-payment or some such) and close it after the allotted time.

Ebay has never been a friend of the seller. With there new payment system where it goes straight to your bank instead of PayPal, I can tell you a lot of small sellers had to quit or are facing harder times because of the huge delay in getting paid now. I for one have already felt the sting. However I can't afford to quit.

A month on eBay is nothing. It takes far, far longer than that to establish yourself as a seller. And as a new seller, you need to be especiallhy alert to those would would take advantage of your inexperience.
