What is a Product ID?

I am trying to list an item I have listed several times before, but NOW, it keeps saying "Invalid Product ID".  I have looked everywhere and cannot find a field that says "Product ID".  The bar code is the barcode and it is in eBay item specifics under that barcode, so it can't be that.  It is in the proper category.  So, what is the Product ID?

MPN ? (manufacturer part number)  That would be like a model number.  Um, I'm looking at a Department 56 thing right now that has 55106 as the model number, which is what I would use for Product Number.

(I think.  I usually have to put it in Specifics myself; different category than what you're using, I'm sure.)

What type of product?  Some things don't have numbers and then wouldn't Does Not Apply work?

I just redid the listing, exactly the same, didn't change a thing and this time it was accepted.
