I know this post is old but I found his question interesting since I was searching for the same answer. I am not new on eBay….we all have $ limits & eBay adds those limits even on a listing that hasn’t sold. Example I’ve been selling on eBay since idk I believe 2004? Anyhow I took some time off & I currently have 19-20 listings that eBay told me due to my current listings,I could not list the item I was listing a BIN at $4750 this item is a very expensive pair of Air Jordan Weezy shoes anyhow I asked for an increase & eBay denied it why? 🤷♂️ I’ve got over 900 sales 💯 % feedback always ship out within 48 hours and communicate frequently. So the real question is why would eBay not allow my requested increase? There is no good reason & I’m not desperate to list it at my current remaining limit at $1400 when it’s worth much more & eBay would get more$!$!$!
