What happens when my fixed price listing ends?

I have a pretty good selling product on eBay right now.

It says that my listing is ending in 4 days, but what happens when it does?

I would like to keep selling this product, and I don't want to relist the product, because it says how many I've sold and so on.

What will happen when the listing ends, and do I have to make a new listing then?

Thanks

What happens when my fixed price listing ends?

If you have stock left on the listing it will automatically renew.

If you don't have stock left on the listing it won't automatically renew unless you enable the out of stock option.

All fixed price listings are Good Until Canceled now.  They don't end anymore and will automatically relist after 30 days.

It will automatically relist, unless you manually End it.

If you End it, it will go to your Unsold Items list for up to 90 days.

You can relist it at any time using either Relist or Sell Similar.

Many believe that Sell Similar will appear as a New Listing but Relist won't.

If you don't End the listing, you will be charged the applicable rate for the listing, from free to 35 cents. The listing will appear for a month then relist.

EBay tells us, and it might be true, that listings with recent sales get a higher placement in Search.

EBay tells us, and it might be true, that listings that have been active for months are more likely to be picked up in Google Search.

Hi, if your items are listed on the .com USA eBay site, then they will not end but instead will automatically renew, keeping all your data intact. It's called Good Til Canceled and is a new policy maneuver by eBay for fixed price listings. It used to be that the listing would time out and end, and would have to be manually relisted, unless the seller set up his own Good Til Canceled format. In other words, it was a choice of the seller to automatically renew. That choice is no longer available and all fixed price listings now automatically renew. However, the seller can opt to manually end the listing at his discretion, at any time.

There are 4 days left until your listing renews, not 4 days left until it ends.

Starting in August, GTC listings will roll over on the date that they were originally listed, rather than every 30 days.  A listing that started on January 5 will renew on August 5. September 5, etc.

If he didn't have the OOS option activated, it would have ended already.

@eliasfpoulsen

If you have enabled the Out of Stock option, what will happen is:

The listing will renew for another month, but will be hidden from search. Insertion Fees will be charged as if it were a regular listing.

If the quantity stays at zero for a full period, the listing may be eligible for an insertion fee credit.

The listing will renew for 3 cycles if no stock is added. At the end of 3 months, if you have not updated quantity, the listing will end.

(eBay AU rules are the same. Just change the domain on that last link to eBay.com.au)

See ... that's what I get for not actually looking and just going by what has been discussed LOL

So ... what will happen is .... the listing will renew with available quantity remaining staying the same until that quantity is sold out 😁 (append rest of original response here)
