For those that have an ebay store. Can one of you look at your credit card and see what the bill codes as? US Bank has a credit card that gives a $100 credit for 12 consecutive subscription purchases of MCC 5734 - Computer Software Stores. I'm trying to see if the ebay store subscription codes as that.
Also, if it doesn't code as that what does it code as?
Thanks

I can't help you with that question. My store fees are deducted from the money in my Managed Payment Account. Yours are likely to be the same.
I don't know that you can have your store fees paid via your CC. Hopefully someone else knows for sure.

First at the risk of being picky, I don't think eBay would qualify as a "Computer Software Store". That description would sound like Best Buy, etc. Before you go off on a quest you might want to verify with your bank that it actually qualifies.

Thanks. I don't have a store right now, but when I did managed payments weren't introduced yet. We could pay all fees with a credit card. Thanks. I think what you wrote is the answer to my question.

Thanks. I haven't applied for the card yet, if I do. The MCC for "Computer Software Store" is confirmed as something like Adobe or Quickbooks - more Software as a service (sas) type stuff. Best Buy would be a consumer electronics store. To me, the ebay store subscription seems more like an Abobe or Quickbooks subscription as it is non-tangible - I'm not sure though.

If you pay for any seller fees including a store subscription and you don’t have enough funds in your managed payment account the payment will look similar to this >>ELECTRONIC WITHDRAWL. eBay ComVU*****MKPayments123456 on a credit card or checking account.

Are store subscriptions always charged separately, or are they deducted from your balance and/or netted with other payments and charges in your payout?
I have no idea, I don't have a store.

eBay will draw off existing funds available and if not available from the bank card associated w/ the account.
I don't believe eBay stores be considered SAS in as far as business goes as they attach into the marketplace nor are they very robust, in fact they're very basic not that features matter in said context.
If you're planning to try sell SAS based software here, dont bother especially if its Adobe or Quickbooks as the account will likely be very suspended very fast.

Store fees are always a separate charge so we can tell what we are being charged for, just as they give us details on other fees charged. Nothing is lumped together so to speak.
