What do you say in the message area when you decline or counter a best offer? Anything?
I usually decline or counter based on prices of recently sold comparable items and I often say so in the message. An example message with counter would be :
"TU4 UR offer. Excellent choice! My ask already less than avg price of recently sold similar. I offer 10% off my ask as a courtesy. Pls consider."
Do you say why or just state the price you want?

I sometimes mention that the item is new and sealed. Then the buyer is never heard from again.

I find it hilarious that some posters say they block buyers who make offers when Best Offer is not enabled. Why anyone would block a buyer for this reason is beyond me.

Most of my stuff has free shipping so if its a really really low offer , it makes me mad and I say nothing and just decline it . If it's a reasonable offer but not quite there yet ? I just tell them they're getting warm and to please consider my counter offer . I always say thank you . That's it 🙂 Tulips
