What are your selling plans for 2018?

Just wondering and asking for an informal poll. Please answer honestly and don't answer what you wish you would do. What do you plan on your level of selling to be for next year? Will it be the same, more or less on eBay and other places you may sell.  I'm talking about your effort and not success because we all know results are hard to predict.

I'll kick it off.

I plan to put the same amount of effort in here PROVIDED there is not some anti-seller policy that really turns me off.

I do plan on ratcheting up my efforts selling at the flea market though.

I'll continue to put in the same level of effort as current accross all platforms. How much effort here depends on eBay policies and performance changes in either direction.  I'm planning to make an effort to move more items to other platforms in time for the next Holiday season.  eBay will likely see fewer sales (and $$) from me as that happens.

I agree with both of you. Working other venues more and more, don't want to be dependent upon ebay which is not reliable and not stable an environment, imho. Plus we all know the Spring seller update will do something nasty to sellers, it always does these years. I can't imagine what their next way to squeeze us is, but they will think one up, for sure. 

My plans...to decrease the hoard substantially one way or the other....it's massive, there's a lot of money in it, and my house is swallowed up.

I've been here for 19 years and done fairly well...BUT...having learned in the past couple of months how shoddily ebay treats it's REAL customers (the sellers), I cannot in good conscience continue to support an organization that, by evidence of it's omissions, is both deaf and dumb.
I'll be downsizing big time til my current inventory is gone in 4-6 months, and then I'm virtually gone as well.
I may be listing a smattering of consignments...and let the other guy cover the fees.

I will be hard pressed to aggressively list like I used to. I used to actually shop for merchandise to sell now it’s become a closet cleaning and seasonal item thing for me. I do still search for those HTF toys and Designer items, which I will do in my spare time since this has now become a hobby instead of a supplement. I will continue to list on the other platforms I currently sell on. Albeit begrudgingly instead of with excitement.

Second that...the ebay quasi-policy of self-protection against scammers was the final straw.

Selling more items, reducing prices on stale merchandise (it would sell if the price were what buyers want to pay).

I have been meaning to work on my Etsy store for years, let's try again in 2018.

I have a collection of toys to list, and just started photographing them. (They're for a friend, so they rank low on my list of priority and my shop has a quota of how many store subscription listings they'll let me use for personal use without contributing).

Sadly, the dollar amount each year has been on the decline since I started selling seriously in volume in 2013.

I own a film festival so my focus will be on expanding that. I’ll be in my 4th year. Good for u! It’s always fun to focus on the things we love

most stringed instruments, but especially like playing guitar and bass guitar..here I am doing everything except percussion, I compose, I play guitar)s and bass guitar.. and I record using Tonepost UX-2 interface and Ableton Live Lite 9.0 recording software
