1. Taking poor quality photos & not enough of them, can upload 12.
2. Not utilizing the listing heading correctly or seeing it as part of the description, use every space to give crucial details, more & more sellers ignore how useful the listing header is
3. Appallingly lax description, not giving sufficient information/attention to points of note & not adding these issues to item specifics.
4. Presuming the viewer/buyer is a mind reader & should “know” that your used Levis have a hole in the pocket you have not photographed.
5. Slow shipping & sloppy, poor, or thoughtless packaging.
If anyone knows the rather than that, please write it down.😊

Not understanding profit or ROI and being part of the Race to the Bottom when listing. They have no idea what their true costs are, fees, etc
Not understanding that the IRS thinks their revenue on their e-Bay or online sales needs to be reported and so does the State they live in.
Over-stating the quality and condition of the item being sold.

Good point!
Men's clothing, too - the idea that they're much more standard is a huge myth - beyond dress clothing which uses standard tailoring practice, they're all over the place (I wear a lot of men's clothing).
It's amazing how many clothing sellers don't even bother, then wonder why their stuff doesn't sell!
