I did not search or view any listings for "stretch Monster," "stretch" or "Monster" and I did not add "stretch Monster" (or anything) to my saved searches this month. It's not showing in my saved searches, either, and yet ... it's showing on my home page as a new saved search:
I've seen things in my recently viewed section that I didn't view, but it was usually after a call with customer service so I figured the rep was looking at things before remembering to close out my account window. Thanks to this new home page discrepancy I'm not so sure that recently viewed discrepancies are the fault of customer service not closing out my account session.
I don't have a question or a problem - just sharing.

That's a screenshot of the homepage. You can see the text where they claim it's one of my new saved searches.
Yes, as I said above I went to my saved searches and it's nowhere to be found. It's not remotely connected to any recently viewed item, either. It's some kind of weird tech bug showing me somebody else's saved search on my home page.
It was still there when I logged in today. I added a new item to my saved search a little while ago to see what would happen and that made it disappear from the home page.

Nope
It's completely coming from eBay's side, not mine. It's also very specific to the search term some other person used as you can tell from the spelling in quotes "stretch Monster" with the M capitalized.

In this case that definitely didn't happen. No stretch or Monster searching going on here. The other funny part is that it specifically says it's one of my new saved searches. If it was a random IP/network connection then it would show as "recommended" like other things that are related to my recently viewed history. It wouldn't display as a new saved search.

We all have our "dark side". If you're in to stretchy monsters, that's your business.
No one will judge you here. 😃

I put a smiley face at the end of that. Why aren't emoji's working?
