A couple of days ago I lost a handful of drafts that were only 2 weeks old. I'm not surprised to hear that others are having issues with drafts.
Do you have a desktop or laptop you can check to see if the drafts are accessible? If you can get to them on your computer then you can e-mail the photos or cloud-share them from your phone to computer.
