They want you to pay for the privilege of being able to refer buyers to the Ebay favorites, big box store, and Chinese.

 

They see no problem with that at all.

Not thrilled about this either. Did you see that they hid it under "Selling fees"?

Wasn't there a large price increase recently with one of the justifications being they were eliminating third party advertising? I seem to remember that being touted as a key benefit for sellers, that offset the higher fees.

This is not new, it has been part of eBay policy since at least 2003.
