Think ill take break to sell. AND UP prices high to discourage bid til they end for the month til it they comes back. I don't always like to rely on online response and perfer to have phone in case situations arise. I guess asia was really affected.

They should at least put more REMOTE LIVE CHATS if they don't have call ins.

Currently there is NO CHAT and NO PHONE Support right now. THIS IS WHY I AM NOT LISTING EXPENSIVE AND MIGRATING.

Do you mean moving to MP?  What questions do you have?  Be specific.  It is likely there are members here than can answer questions for you on MP so that if you have been told you need to register for MP you can so you don't end up with your selling privileges curtailed.

I am extremely **bleep** at eBay for eliminating telephone calls. Whoever came up with this idea, obviously, doesn’t even know how eBay works. The only thing I can do at this point is

to transfer my items for sale to another company that is similar.

They have already lost my business. I just

need to transfer my existing items for sale.

What a stupid move on eBay’s part. Sounds

to me like eBay could be in some serious trouble. No one in their right mind would do

what they just did eliminating phone support.

Ebay hasn't "eliminated" their Phone support or their Customer Service.  Certainly phone support isn't as robust as it use to be, but then we are in the middle of a pandemic.

Drop to the bottom of the page and the email option is there.  Or you can click on the reason for needing assistance and the options for contact will display.  For some of them that could be the ability to call, leave a message for a call back, email or live chat.

The seller’s help center give you the ability for file for certain types of assistance.

It's important to be aware of where you post a question on Ebay’s Facebook page.  A comment on one of Ebay’s marketing posts won't be answered, but comments posted directly on Ebay’s page will.

It would be cheaper and make more sense to use some sort of company provided VoIP system and have people work from home. There is no excuse a multi-billion dollar company that charges for it's services doesn't offer a working CS phone number, none at all, regardless of what anyone says.

Keep in mind that the OP of this thread has not updated this thread in months.  So it is unlikely they are still having the same problem they came here with back in March.

Yeah I get that too! My fav is buyer used my item and now wants to return it like I'm a free rental service. The automated service automatically sides with the issue refund. No live person to explain things too anymore, no refunds! don't matter with the   backed by eBay's money back guarantee!

This is really frustrating. 3 sellers sold me 525.00 worth of merchandise, 1st item arrived destroyed, and all the other items got sent to someone else, not my address listed on my purchases. 1st seller refuses to give refund, and the other 2 sellers are no longer exsisting on ebay, and i have no way of contacting them to report the isue. I have filed claims with ebay 5 days ago, no option to have ebay step in yet, and its almost christmas.

On item 1, file a request for return stating the item was damaged in shipment.  That seller will have 2-3 days to respond, if they don't you can ask Ebay to step in.  If the seller is refusing refund, then ask Ebay to step in, they will take care of things.  Keep in mind that a seller is within their rights if they are asking you to return the item before a refund is given.  Your seller should pay for return shipping.  But you would need to return the item to get your refund.

On sellers 2&3 you should have filed INRs [items not received] claims.  No need to contact your seller.  Always nice, but if you are unable to contact them, filing the claims will be fine.  You may want to call Ebay on these two so you can get noted that the seller shipped these items to a different address than you stated on your payment.

Yes this time of the year things get more urgent when stuff like this happens.  I respect that.  But the claim's timeframe are not shortened to accommodate for that because that would mean that one side of the issue or the other would have to have their rights infringed upon to do that.  Certainly that doesn't help you when you are trying to get that Christmas list taken care of and it can be very frustrating.

With the amount of money that Ebay makes in the pandemic they can afford mje special accomodations for customer support that answers the phones. I am unable to dipute bills. Someone screws the accounting , adds international fees for domestic shipments. How about ebay hireshighly qualified people to do accouńting fair to sellers so the need for call supportis eliminated?

I agree with you 0%. Other companies have figured out how to have phone support during the COVID crisis. Unacceptable for eBay not to.
