i have been on eBay for multiple years, have only positive feedback, and still cannot list items. for months it has said i have ‘reached my selling limit’, even though I still have 250 free listings. why is this happening???

WHY CANT I LIST ITEMS?

250 free insertions monthly has nothing to do with your account's listing limits.

You should take a look at this page and you should see a banner that tells you what your account's listing limits are:

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-limits?id=4107

If you want to request an increase that page has info on how you can do that.

You can also keep track of your limits on your Seller Hub Overview page.

WHY CANT I LIST ITEMS?

79 sales over several years is not a sales record which is likely to have earned the trust of Ebay.

Among the types of safety measures which apply to new and infrequent sellers are limits on numbers of listings or value of your listings.

You might try experimenting with listing fewer of lower priced items to see if you are able to increase your revenue by using the listings for higher priced items, or see if you can increase your sales and revenues by offering a different selection of what you own in inventory.

Having only positive feedback is irrelevant when grading the performance of US sellers. Pointing out your positive FB is an indication that you have not yet learned how Ebay rates your performance as a seller. Some reading in the Ebay help files would enlighten you.

WHY CANT I LIST ITEMS?

I see 95 current listings for you under this ID.

One of the recent ones shows verbiage that implies a buyer has only 3 days to open an item not as described case.

WHY CANT I LIST ITEMS?

Thank you.  I didn't know that, not being a trading card person myself.
