Remeber the TV show "WHAT WOULD YOU DO"?
They have done MANY MANY shows about Cashiers/bartenders/waitstaff Giving to much
money back in a OBVIOUS way to customers. In each show 9 out of 10 people KEPT THE EXTRA MONEY! So does that mean that 9 out of 10 people are bad and would steal from you? Hmm. Can't answer that. BUT i can tell you, the word FREE brings out the worst in people.
SO as the word spread's that ebay (sellers) will ship you this item, then if you don't want it, then ebay (sellers) will give you a FREE return label, how many will be tempted to send you rocks back? Get a free item. There excuse to there self besides the many con artists here will be, ebay paid for it, not the seller.
I used to bring free lunch to business's, free goodies, the greed was never ending they acted like they haden't eaten in months. Business men and woman started demanding free tickets to sports games and so on..free free free
The word FREE brings out the worst in people. Good or bad.
