I just wanted to share my personal experience using the "Volume Pricing" feature for "Promotions". Seasoned Ebay sellers may already know this, but I learned the hard way. Volume pricing is ONLY for a SINGLE posting where you are selling multiple items. My problem was that I thought I could use this type of promotion for MULTIPLE listings of DIFFERENT items in the same CATEGORY. I have a store category for my DVDs that I'm selling, for example. I thought I could use this promotion to sell 2 DVDs (separate postings) for a 10% discount, 3 DVDs (separate postings) would provide the buyer with a 15% discount, and 4 DVDs (separate posts) would provide the buyer with a 25% discount. Unfortunately, this is NOT how this promotion works. It only works for those similar items that a seller is posting in a SINGLE post. I know it might be obvious to some, but I was misled by the directions for this promotion that didn't seem that clear to me. Anyway, I hope this description helps other sellers who see this option in their Promotions.
