Volume Pricing

Yes, it is part of the Promotions Manager, so you would need a store subscription to utilize it.

I have used it many times with success. If you make the discount big enough, it always works.

Volume Pricing

yes, I use it on items that a buyer is likely to purchase multiples of.   Works well, even a 5% discount encourages others to purchase more.

Thanks for your responses.  One more question - I just looked it up and it said available to store subscribers only.  Does anyone know if that is true because it does come up when I am listing an item and I do not have a store.

I've been surprised by how few buyers take me up on it. That includes people who buy one item, check out, then immediately buy another one and people who buy one item, then a day or two later, buy another one. Still, when it does work, it's nice for everyone.

Hey @ham*i*am46. Took a look and you are selling one-offs.

Volume pricing is not intended for one-offs, it's intended for sellers that offer multiple quantities of the same item. I'm not sure if it's systematically possible to use it for one offs, but even if it was I think you'd see poor results.

Your items are better suited for promotions like order discounts (buy 1 get 1 x% off, save $x when you buy x) or markdown sales. These can be managed from the eBay store subscriber promotions page here: https://www.ebay.com/sh/mkt/promotionmanager/dashboard

If you do not have a store subscription, but would like to consider one, visit:

https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/payments-and-fees/subscriptions-and-fees

I'd suggest starting with a monthly subscription since there are early termination fees when you cancel an annual subscription early. Try it out for 2-3 mos and if it's working well for you, upgrade to the annual subscription.

Walk without rhythm, it won't attract the worm.

I've tried it with stamps that I have multiples of.    It really fails to generate any extra sales for me 'even when I did buy 1 get 1 50%  off.

Problem is,  most stamp collectors are working on an album and only need 1 of each stamp.
