Hi--- I 've seen a bunch of posts on social media about this shim. It looks to be eBay rolling out the listing view counting system they spoke of in the Spring Seller Update. Many sellers noted their listings showing 0. Look in a few days and see if its "updated." Some have noted that happens

Ebay sets views and watchers every 30 days now. In the past it just kept accumulating. However, if you click on views you can set your views from 30 days up to 2 years. So you call it. I have mine set on 90 days. Try and see if that works for you.

On a laptop when I look at active listings I see the views as always

Still call ebay. This new ebay rollout on 30 day views has many wrong issues, that is bad for the sellers. First when you call, support play like they don't know what's going on. Than they will act like they are going to fix the problem. The real issue with ebay, they are trying to force sellers to pay for promote their listings. That is what ebay ceo has been saying in the past few years, to get sellers to pay for promoted listing. Ebay, saying to filter out "bot" views. However, they will not tell sellers what that really means. In simple terms, if you have your item listed on another website, that can go to your ebay listing, ebay is going to call that a bot, and filter it out as not a view or that person will not be able to view your listing. I did a test and had five people I know view one of my listing. Waited a day, and the listing still show 0 views. Called ebay, they told me it's nothing wrong with that listing, it just haven't gotten any views. Every other month ebay come out with some new scam to milk sellers out of more money, when those very small sellers barely making money on ebay. I only list small items on ebay. I sell 98 percent of my products on other sites. There was a time I would just list on ebay, and make decent money. Now I just make enough to pay my cable bill. Don't let ebay trick you into paying to promote your listings. Other sites offer better options, and better sells of your products.

Before the new view roll out I got more views, and sold more items. All views are not bots as ebay trying to claim. If your link is on a third party site, and someone click on that ebay, ebay may consider it a bot, and block that person from viewing your item. I had 270 listings on ebay, and only 1,476 views for the month. That is 5 views for each listing. Although most of my listing shows no views for the month. Ebay is no longer a friendly site for sellers. Every other month ebay comes up with something to get another dollar out of sellers to make more profit, while most sellers makes less profit. The average seller on ebay make only $12,000 or less a year. If you looking to make more money, and sell items faster, put your listings on other sites. If not, ebay will have you frustrated. If a person ask a ebay seller should he or she should sell on ebay, the seller would most likely say no. There are better sites than ebay to sell products on. I hope ebay would get it's act together, and get rid of those on top who is bring ebay down.

Views don't matter, sales do. I have a pair of VW Passat inner tail lens in great shape with thousands of views and no sales. Some other items just need a couple views and someone buys them right up.
