Views=0, watchers=2. What???

Like many others posting here, I’ve been getting zero views on most of my recent listings.  But on a few of them, it’s showing 1 or 2 watchers, but no views.  How can that happen?  Anybody else experiencing this?

The entry on the search results page has a little heart in the lower-right corner that the member can click on to add the item to their Watch list.

Two reasons, as @nobody*s_perfect says you do not need to view the listing page to become a watcher, it can be done right from the search results page.

Second reason, eBay is now only showing 30 days of views (you can still see the historical total in the traffic report) so if you have watchers from 6 weeks ago and no views since then you will see watchers with no views.

The later is a good move, I have GTC listings that have been up for 3 - 5 years, what good is it for me to see views from 5 years ago, I want to see the recent traffic to determine if there is current interest.

When you are doing a search as you scroll down every listing has a place were

you can click to put in on your watch list without clicking to look at the listing.

I have items that _sold_ within the last week, which show zero views on the Seller Hub Manage Active Listings page.

If I look at my listing myself, the link to the listing in the browser turns purple to show that I have accessed the web page on the internet, but the count on the Seller Hub Manage Active Listings page remains zero.

Also, all of the counters on my individual listings have completely disappeared.

Part of the changes to Views is to no longer count the bot views (search engines) no doubt they have also removed views that come the seller (actually I think that has always been true).

Another thing is that the Views you see in the Seller Hub do not seem to update in real-time, if you make a sale on a listing that shows 0 views, go back and look at it the next day and it should at least one.
