Well, the issue of low impressions may be more complex than an either/or proposition of” is it eBay or me?”. There are likely multiple overlapping factors.
But I think the most pressing question i would be asking myself is how do i generate more sales traffic, rather than focus on impressions. The two are related, but with just 5 items listed, your footprint on eBay is already very small.
Have you violated any eBay policies? Had any cases opened against you? If not, then it is unlikely that eBay has lowered you in its Search results or diminished your presence in some way. On the contrary, you are using Promoted Listings on all 5 of your items, which usually affords a better placement in Search results.
When i did a quick search for “Champion backpack,” over 700 listings were returned. Your Champion backpack listing showed on the first page. So why is no one clicking on your offerings?
One possibility is price. Pricing is a key factor in such a highly competitive environment, when other sellers may be using the same supplier and listing the same products. International sellers may have the added disadvantage of a lack of understanding of the US market, of its culture and language barriers.
Drop-shipping can be a tough business model on eBay. You are not in control of storing, packing and shipping. Having the right suppliers and the most suitable products can be a challenge. You are responsible for meeting eBay’s requirements without being in physical control of the process.
