Venting a bit

It's almost like my account has went to crap yesterday. I keep telling myself to get over it - not working.  So some venting...

I had one listing pulled and when I go to resolve it I get the page that I have signed out of eBay. I can't pull it up to change anything or to delete the listing- nothing. Then I get a return on a ring that says it didn't fit although it has two pictures with the ring on a mandrel showing what size. Then the feedback, though it says it's positive didn't sound positive.  Saying that it was to small, wrong size and that it was not vintage. I feel besmirched.   I know how long I've owned this ring- late 90s minus 2025 = more than 20 years. I offer free returns so no problem and sent postage. However its not my problem they ordered the wrong size ring. I will not refund the original postage as I did not provide that service. I' ll eat the ad fees. But what about the $19.00 plus transaction fees? Does Ebay refund that to me?

If you voluntarily provide the refund and eBay doesn't have to force you to do so, your final value fees are refunded, yes.

Make sure you get the item returned to you BEFORE you refund the buyer.  Do NOT refund first as you likely will never see the item.

You will be just fine.  We all go through days like this.  😍  Chin UP !!!

Sadly if you issued the refund to the buyer already, it is unlikely you will get the item back.  The buyer just does not have any incentive to return the item.

I issued a return shipping label- free returns- is what I should of said. I won't approve the payment until I have the ring.   Only had to make that mistake once.

I did get notified of it being on its way back.
