We have developed variations for many of our products. The problem we are running into, is when you look up a specific design our listing comes up very high. The listing on the search result has the correct photo for the design but once you click into the listing, it reverts back to the first item on the listing. An example would be if I had 100 movies listed and the customer looks up Die Hard, the Die Hard picture comes up but when they click into the listing, it shows Arachnophobia.
Does anyone know a work around for this or did eBay not go the same route and Amazon on the variation listing?

Thank you for the reply. We have it set up where there are no default pics just a picture for each item/design. On Amazon it shows the listing that the customer clicked on which includes the design so they can order without having to use a dropdown menu. It just comes down to the extra click needed to get the order. Thanks again!

Yes, it reverts (usually) to the Gallery photo.
THEN (if set up correctly) when you select a title from the drop down THAT item's photo shows up.
