Using stamps for shipping

How do I go about using stamps I’ve already bought for shipping instead of purchasing the shipping label or can stamps be returned to USPS?

USPS policy is "no return" on stamps. They do "exchange", but that I just for other stamps.

You should be able to print a "shipping address label" (not purchase, just print to-from), apply your stamps, and take it to a Post Office to ship. They would provide you with the tracking #. You would come back to your account, and enter that tracking.

@777njacob

Note:  tracking # would be provided only for "package" shipping, not for plain envelope mailings.

I write the name and address on the package. I put most of the postage on it using my old stamps. I go to the post office, make the line and pay the difference.  The clerk will give me the receipt with the tracking #.   I then upload the tracking # when I get home.
