Is it customary to go to texting on your phone messager instead of staying on Ebay. Is there a way to know if you are being scammed? I'm getting a headache just trying to figure this out.
I'm selling a truck so I'm not too worried about loosing it but I am about loosing money.

It's a scammer. You're a new seller, so unless you get away from the best offers they'll continue to hound you. Never communicate outside the ebay forum. Do not respond to these types, just block them.

In the future avoid auction style listings with best offers and list all your items at a fixed buy it now price with immediate payment required checked off. Sport bidders and non - paying bidders steer clear of these listings as they must pay instantly. Please be careful.

It is NOT customary & is usually a sign of a scammer, HOWEVER, I'm not sure about Ebay Motors. Maybe it's done more on there b/c cars have more questions? I'm sure someone will be along who knows Ebay Motors practices better than I do.
