Username in item title?

I have occasionly listed a custom order with the title "Custom order for (user)".
Someone on another forum tells me this is against ebay rules.

Could someone here please point me to the rule?
I don't understand why this would be a problem.
Seems like the best way to sell to a spicific buyer.

Except they are probably sport bidders, who won't pay.  So if you use the fixedprice/BO strategy, be sure to check off "Immediate payment required"!

Once that new update falls it won't even matter!

You know, you could possibly put into the listing that the shipping has been priced to ship to Ex: Birmingham Alabama.  Then if anyone who doesn't live in Birmingham Alabama purchases it, you could legitimately cancel due to problem with address.

I know this question has been asked and answered before that you cannot exclude states within the continental US.

So that would be unenforceable.
