This may seem like a dumb question but here goes. If I'm an ebay seller and my account name is say techman-2 and I've been a member since 2014 with a 100% rating. Now I want to change it say to "Johnnies garage" will it still leave me a 10 year member or act as if I'm new ? I don't want it to look like I'm a new account. Thanks in advance for any info..

Yes, all that happens is that eBay adds an icon indicating a name change, the icon goes away in 30 days. Nothing else changes.

When I changed my account name, my account still reflects when I first joined eBay.

When a member changes their ID, which they are allowed no more than once every 30 days, all your account info, to include feedback will follow.  Your selling stats, Service metric number, everything stays with the account even though you changed your ID.
