Hello - I started with a personal account and have found I really like this platform for selling. Today, I upgraded to a Starter Seller level. However, I cannot add more listings. It keeps taking me back to my personal account where I can only sell or list up to 5 items per month.
By upgrading to the Starter Seller Level - I thought I could list up to 250 items per month but when I search for an item and choose Sell Similar, it saves it to my personal account and then I cannot publish.
I think I am doing something wrong on my end because I can't figure out how to start a listing in my store.
Any guidance you can provide will be most appreciated!
Thanks!

eBay started you off with seller limits.
The seller limits stay in effect and are separate regardless
of weather you have upgraded to a store. eBay evaluates
all seller accounts once a month and part of that process
they may decide to automatically give you an increase.
You can also request an increase here.

As you found out, just because you got a store, doesn’t change your account limits.
Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

Yep! You have to prove you are legit. Sell and ship for a while to establish your account, then
request selling limit restrictions be removed.

Subscribing to a store does not change your personal listing limits.

That also goes for Holds on payments.
Until you've been selling for 90 days and sold 25 items your payments will be held until tracking shows delivered, or in 21 days if there's no tracking. They can hold the payment for the full 21 days if you're selling in a high risk category.
