I received an INR. (Traditionally with no tracking I just auto refund). However, between the time I received the INR and I got home to check it about two hours. The tracking updated with out for delivery

Hi, you have 3 business days to respond to the case. So i would give it two days to wait for the tracking to show delivery. Then i would upload the tracking into the case notes so eBay will close in your favor. For timelines in the policy, see link below.

I would respond to the case NOW with the tracking number and indicate that the tracking shows "out for delivery".

Note the order recommended by @fashunu4eeuh:
I would not, by any means, upload the tracking now. eBay has been known to refund the buyer if the tracking does not say "delivered."
If the tracking does not show that the item has been delivered by the response deadline, refund the buyer before eBay can be asked to step in.

Previous posters covered responding to a typical INR situation. Not sure where the actual destination was/is or what route the package took to get there but is there a possibility that it could be delayed by a weather or natural disaster event? EBay generally has relief for sellers in those types of situations.

Thanks, I had forgotten I had three days. Was thinking it was only one.
