Unjust Listings removal

In the last month EBay has removed approximately 23 of my Fear of God Essentials Hoodies for being counterfiet.  When it first begain I called and was told what to do to , so I made a better description and posted a copy of my receipts.  They continued to remove them so I called several more time and then was told one other thing I could do to correct the problem so I did that and again they kept removing my listings.  One supervisor told me that everything looked good to her so she relisted it and then two days later it was removed again.  I bought every one of my items from a Fear of God  authorized retailer so I know for a fact they were not counterfiet.  I  was then told that it was Fear of God that was having EBay remove the listings.  I contacted Fear of God and was told that it was absolutley NOT TRUE.  I Do not trust EBay any longer and I have been with them for many years.  I am not sure it they have changed management, but sellers need to be aware of what is happening.  It will no good at all to call customer service, they do not a clue as to what it going on.

Once eBay removes a listing, no matter what CS says, do NOT relist it.

Once you are on the radar the BOTs will continue to remove.

IF you keep listing the removed items your account will be permanently closed.

Hopefully you can return these where you purchased them or sell them on another site.

I don't know who you talked to but if an item has been removed for being counterfeit you can't relist it unless the manufacturer or rights owner agrees it's not counterfeit and faxes that  information to eBay. You receipts are not proof of anything as receipts can be fake. Some rights owners won't  allow you to list unless you purchased from them and not a third party.

If you keep relisting them you will find yourself suspended.

Could it be that eBay wants to put -- um  -- The Fear Of God into you?  Maybe God is trying to tell you something!
Apparently, eBay does not want you to list that brand.  Please look at the responses previous to this one which say, essentially:
                                Do Not List Those Items!

Which is kind like the response I gave yesterday or the day before to a poster using a different name but who was also having a problem with Fear of God hoodies -- which either is you with a different name or an indication of a general issue with Fear of God apparel.

Why poke a skunk?  Do you want to have your account permanently suspended or permanently closed?

Don't list Fear of God apparel!

I have experienced the exact same thing! I buy directly from Pac Sun and I was told the same thing by eBay to relist with receipts and in the description to say I have all proof of purchase, they promised me it wouldn't get removed if I did that, guess what happened a month later? Same thing. Makes no sense.

I just had my Essentials FOG cardigan removed by eBay citing that it was a fake but I think they didn't like the product images. They didn't even give me an option to defend myself and now I can't relist and risk suspension. I bought my cardigan from PacSun last year, wore it only a few times and put it up about 7 months ago with no issues or complaints. Suddenly, they removed it and made it look like I was a criminal. I feel deterred to ever sell anything "branded" on eBay again. Too bad because I have so many sneakers I need to sell.

Glad I found this thread. Had 3 essentials items removed in the last couple of days and started reaching out to eBay but I can see it’s not worth my time. I guess I’ll just have to list on a different platform. So stupid that some can list their items without problem.

This happens to me every single month.... and eBay customer service is the worst at handling these issues. This is totally nonsense.

Some users could argue that calling the overseas untrained customer service is a cr*p shoot at best. Sellers with concerns are probably better off coming here first for advice.

Relisting and then getting one’s items removed again (even with eBay’s seeming approval) happens regularly. It is risky to relist any item that eBay takes down. Once a seller is on eBay’s radar, the account is scrutinized more carefully. Multiple removals for the same infraction can get a seller suspended, days at first, then weeks, then a month, and then permanently. Penalties are cumulative.

So rather than risk one’s account, never relist a pulled listing—even when eBay grants permission for the item to be restored. Find another platform to sell those items on.

Best of luck to you, and sorry this happened.

It happened to me also . So I went ahead and listed my FOG Essentials on Poshmark.  They give you no problems and it easy to list your items.

I just got a message this morning that I have counterfeit FOG items removed....problem is, I have never listed ANYTHING of this brand!  The message does not even list items that were removed!  What on earth is going on??
