Goodday Everyone,
So I listed my Apple Watch series 1 last night and had several BO's. I received one from a buyer with 0 feedback and then this morning noticed that my item sold for $200 to that same buyer. Ive received payment through paypal already. However, I feel quite uneasy about shipping the watch and using the taking out the paypal funds to use since the buyer has 0 feedback. I had a major issue several years ago with a chargeback and lost the items and am not sure how to proceed with this current transaction. The member has been active since June 23 of this year and cannot find any information regarding their history. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

everyone starts w 0.Is the order address incountry you ship to.If so ship. You are covered by ebay if buyer claims non receipt if you have online viewable delivery tracking. And pp offers charge back protection w same info
If you cancel you will get a defect strike-too many of those you will be sanctioned

I've sold to buyers with zero feedback in the past and so far haven't had any problems. If it really makes you uncomfortable, you can cancel the transaction but you do risk getting negative feedback. Something else to consider would be insuring the package through the mailing service.

Yes the shipping address is in the US. I know everyone starts at 0, just have never sold an item for this amount to someone with no feedback. Just sometimes seems that ebay sides more with "buyer protection" than seller protection lol

Make sure you check your Paypal account directly by logging into it to make sure the funds are there and that there are no holds on it as in a echeck.

Should I try contacting the buyer and explaining the situation with regards to having 0 feedback and see if I receive a response? I know payment has been made and do not want to cancel the transaction before without doing my due diligence on it.

You could, but the fact is, other than 0 feedback, the buyer has done nothing wrong.

Receiving a payment is a response.
What more do you want from the buyer-what do you want the buyer to say ?
The buyer can't change the 0 feedback until they receive some feedback.
Here's an idea, leave feedback and thank the buyer for their payment, and voila, the buyer will no longer have 0 feedback.

I just got hit with a paypal dipsute from a 0 feedback buyer who had just signed up that same day. I am willing to bet that the item I receive back from him is not going to be the item I sent to him. When I got this order back in June, I KNEW KNEW KNEW it was going to be a proble.
Problem is, we can't block 0 fb buyers. I know everyone has to start somewhere, but I just wish there was a way we can opt out if we do not feel good about the transaction, without getting a defect.

Curious. What was the best offer the buyer sent? It will help decide if you have a serious buyer or a scammer on your hands. Is there a tremendous difference between the offer and the buy it now price?
If it's any consolation, I think scammers are less likely to offer up best offers, they go right for the kill with the buy it now. Doesn't mean you're safe with any sale on ebay though.

Having 0 feedback isn't doing wrong either, for that matter...

They made a best offer of 185 and then used bin of 200. i actually reached out to the buyer and received a quick response so at least i feel more comfortable shipping. I will just use priorty mail and insure it.
