Unable to cancel and order.

Hello all.

I have recently had to cancel an order.

Unfortunately I did things the wrong way round.

I refunded the Paypal amount in full.

Then, when I saw it was still live in my sold items, I went to cancel the order there.

Ebay will not let me do that saying a Paypal case is open.

I will now get a black mark due to overdue shipping.

My mistake - but is there a way round this?

Unfortunately when paypal gets involved via a case, It becomes a waiting game. eBay stays out of it, They won't do anything, And gives paypal the power to decide what happens, So you won't be able to cancel the order on eBay's end. 

What is the case for? The buyer trying to pull a fast one saying they never got the item? Never got the refund? 

Unfortunately paypal takes AGES to close a case, And resolve the issue.

Sorry this happened, But there is not much you can do but wait it out.
