UPI case closed, buyer keeps messaging me regarding payment...

This person has messaged me far too many times and is draining the kindness out of me... Started out with a message of "I will pay for this in two weeks." not, "is it ok, or would it be a problem...." sent a new message with each payment reminder that she'd pay in two weeks. I let the UPI assistant open the case, as I was agitated with her assumption that she had two weeks to pay, and I couldn't compose a response that wasn't snarky.  The minute the case is opened I get another message insisting she'd pay in two weeks, then another promising payment in two weeks, and yet a third and fourth. I responded that she needed to pay within the four days or the UPI assistant would automatically close the case and she'd get a strike. So the day it closes, she messages again stating she'd pay for it on the 20th. I explained to her that the case was closed and she wouldn't be able to pay. Next up she messages that eBay forgave her the unpaid item strike, and the payment button is still showing, and she will be paying on the 20th.  I finally asked her to stop messaging me regarding the case, as it was closed, and the item was relisted. Yet again, another message is sent, stating the item shows as "payment pending" and that it doesn't show as relisted. She is now on my blocked bidder list (set not to receive messages from blocked bidders). But, because we already established a communication, her messages are not being blocked...  she's blowing up my in box... I'm not responding to any more messages... Sorry for the rant, just really annoyed!!

Just delete future messages and carry on. You've already responded to her enough - if she hasn't gotten it now, I don't think 'one more time' is going to do anything but provoke more messages.  You can forward any subsequent messages for harassment.

Edited for fumble fingers.

She still insists that it says "payment pending" on her end... asked what she should do... I told her "do nothing, the case is closed. There is nothing you can do."  And yet another plea appeared... I am forthwith ignoring her... she has been blocked. Now, if I could just get her to go away, far, far away...

Dear annoyed,

Buyer refuses to accept that you do not recognize & honor that the buyer is always right.

Tell them to call their payment method and cancel the payment.  Also if it is becoming a problem report them to eBay for harassment.

I'd respond to her one more time and tell her this matter is closed and please stop emailing.

If she emails again, report her to Ebay.  They can and will stop her from emailing you.

As annoying as it is you simply need to ignore the messages. Your item is relisted, you got your FVF's returned, and you blocked her so you should be good. You will not sell to her again, at least not knowingly. Ignore any messages and just move on. Continue to sell and best of luck to you....

You set the tone at the beginning by sending multiple payment reminders, which aren't needed or even advisable. One is plenty.  Then you responded to her messages.  If you don't want to engage in annoying communications from buyers, then the first step is to not encourage it.  Don't send unnecessary reminders, and don't reply to pointless messages from them, not even to tell them to stop sending messages. Just ignore them.

The payment reminders were the ones automatically sent by eBay. Not sure how many were sent, she kept sending message after message... I've since ignored her.

If case closed and buyer blocked, all you need to do is have a coffee and breathe deeply. Don't let this affect you.
Who in their right mind thinks you can have 2 weeks to pay? That's absurd
