UPC for a listing item

Can a kind soul tell me how to locate a UPC. The item I'm trying to list for sale is a retail bar code scanner. The listing is asking for a UPC. I have no idea how to find that. Thanks for any advice.

You don't have to have the UPC, but it does help buyers find the item.  The UPC should be on the box the item came in, or perhaps a label on the device.  Otherwise, the best you can to is go to the manufacturer's website and see if you can find the model there, which likely will also indicate the UPC number.

UPC meaning Universal Product Code. I think there is no UPC for every product. only some products.
