So I shipped a fairly expensive piece of equipment (roughly $500). Shipped to buyers address USPS Priority mail after PayPal funds were received. A few days the package came back to me marked undeliverable and something to the effect of bad address. I immediately tried to contact the buyer and have sent a message after two days without a response. Still no word from the buyer. I'm not a professional seller, it's just a fun pastime like I'm sure it is for many, I have never had anything like this happen. Don't know what to do now.
So refund the customers money and eat the shipping and insurance without a reply from the buyer? Not meant to sound snarky honest question. Thanks or the quick reply and advice.
I'd wait to hear from buyer. If you don't hear back by the end of eBay's MBG window then go to paypal and issue a refund for item price minus non-refundable eBay & paypal fees & shipping.
Thanks all. I guess I was just waiting thinking ok what kind of scam is this. Sad that I'm so jaded but it's getting worse.
Really was serious about not being a smart a&$, I just didn't know how else to word a stupid question. Drawback to email, text, etc. Wothout inflection or speaking with someone a lot can be lost in translation. Thanks again I really do appreciate the advise.
