Trying to sell Digital Theater Tickets without getting Scammed on Ebay?

So I just recently purchased some movie Tickets from Fandago that I'm trying to sell on ebay. Wanted to ask about how to avoid getting scammed or not getting paid through ebay if I do sell them.

Probably better read this before listing any digital tickets . . .

Electronically delivered items policy

If you list ANYTHING on eBay, you can get paid ONLY through eBay. Anything else is a violation.

Ok I have read the policy's. So I bought them through Fandango. Does that mean I have to go and get the Tickets physically to sell them or can I just use the QR Code from the purchase? And is there tips or ways to avoid scams and frauds at all. Also, don't want to do it in person if that's the only way. Heard to many bad stories about those. Thanks for the help.

I'm not an expert on selling digital event tickets, but I don't believe you qualify under eBay's policy. If you expand the "+" beside the heading "Terms and conditions for eBay approved sellers," it looks pretty restrictive.

Speaking of being scammed, I've read about members selling digital goods whose buyers claim they didn't receive them. Without tracking, there's no way to prove whether the buyer did or didn't. The seller always loses in those cases.

Considering you're an inexperienced seller, someone a lot smarter than you or I will know exactly how to get these tickets from you free. Some things just aren't worth the risk being sold on eBay.

You are too green to be selling $20,000 tickets (anything) on eBay.

Why eBay allows sellers to risk this much money is beyond my comprehension.

Be careful out there.
I’ve been on eBay for years and my limit of risk is $100.00-$150.00

Locally for cash.  Just about any item can be had for free at the seller's expense on eBay via a fraudulent claim or Payment Dispute (aka chargeback) .  Know your risk tolerance.  If it would be OK if you lose the item, and the funds paid to you, go for it.  eBay 'seller roulette' is not for the faint of heart.

Oh it will ‘sell’. Whether or not you ever see the money or the tickets (or comics) again is what I worry about.

Scammers and thieves are constantly prowling the internet looking for inexperienced sellers with expensive items for sale. They particularly like eBay because of the iron clad money back guarantee and the gaping holes in the managed payment system.

What about sending them through the mail physically and getting a signature with a tracking number saying it was delivered. Having documentation showing the person actually bought it.

You'd think that would protect you. It won't.

All a buyer has to say is, "The seller sent me an empty envelope!" And you can't prove otherwise. That's true with the items you currently have listed, BTW.

Thanks.

IMO, there should be further delisting of those expensive items.

With no selling history, I'm surprised they were able to list any of those items.

Have A Great Day.

Since it's delisted, which means I can't see it, can someone tell me what kind of theater tickets cost 20K, who would buy them, and is this the average price of entertainment now?
