Trying to get my new bank verified.

Since the end of May, I started trying to validate my account by signing into the bank. For some reason, eBay said something was invalid.  Checked with the bank – routing and account number were correct. Tried again.  Still got message – invalid.

Tried to validate with microdeposits. Got email, they were sent. Nothing went into the bank.

Tried again. Got email they were sent.

Finally showed up in bank account.

Went to email and clicked on “verify deposit amounts” link.

Got message “Something went wrong. Please try again later.”  

Went into eBay account and clicked on link  Your payouts are on hold until you update your account details. Please update by Jul 02, 2023 to avoid further restrictions. Update account details

Got  message

The values you entered do not match the microdeposit amounts we sent to your bank account. Please carefully review your bank transactions, then re-enter the amounts again.

Went back to email and tried again – same results

Went back to eBay account – same results

I have been trying to get my bank account verified for days and days.  Nothing I do works.  I have called and spoken to agents.  If they speak English and I can understand them, they just “blow me off with “wait – it takes a long time for the deposits to get to the bank.”  But now they have, and eBay won’t accept them. I know that others are having similar or the same issues. There are over 10,000 posts regarding this issue. 

Is there ANYONE that we can speak to that can address this convoluted mess eBay has created? I’ve been selling on eBay for 23 years, and I still don’t know how to get in touch with knowledgeable people.  There must be someone somewhere in the company. How do I find them?  In the meantime, I am preparing to close my account and transfer my listings to another venue.  But with almost 1,000 listings, it is a monumental task.

If you are on Facebook many posters suggest to start there. I personally am not on FB so I can only help to say to search this board for older posts that has the info to message on FB. Another poster may come along soon as well. I'm sorry you are so frustrated and I would feel the same! 😫

Thanks - that may help.  There are so many groups on Facebook.  Do you by chance know the name of the group that might have help?

I have never heard of it but will check into it.  If it will simplify things, that would be great.  Oh, how  I miss PayPal for payouts.  It was so quick and efficient.

Do NOT enter all the number shown on your checking account (enter ONLY routing#).   It is important that NAME on  your checking account, social security card and EBAY profile page (otherwise you will have differently getting your account approved).

PS:  Thank Goodness for Crosslist Magic.  It isn't as easy as they claim, but it is making it easier to finally close the door on eBay.

It is the same bank that has been used, just a different account with the same bank.  Also, they are taking money FROM the account, but claim it hasn't been verified to put money IN.  Also, they claim to have made microdeposits to the account, but in actuality, they made MINIWITHDRAWALS.

Finally ready to take another stab at it.  Checked out Facebook.  Nothing but hype. No helpful information, on this topic anyway.  But thanks for your time and effort to help me out. 🙂

Oh my, others seem to say this works by hitting the message button FB for business? Did you see one?

Facebook groups is not the place.               Have not been there, but understand it can be worse than the eBay forums.

Message eBay for Business per the suggestion made by 44012 on 6/13 at 4:03 PM (with link provided) to get in contact with an eBay CSR, not just other facebook groups.

Message the problem without specifics/personal info, and a CSR will get back to message privately.
