A Buyer messaged us after placing a bid that they would like to pick it up locally if possible (if they won). We explained that we could cancel their bid then turn on Local Pick up and they could place another bid and if eventually they win they can select Local Pick up. There are 5 days left on the Auction, we cancelled thier bid (the only bid on it) and the system will NOT let us add Local Pick up even though the check box is NOT grayed out and can be checked. We've waited over an hour and still the same result ... is this normal?

Ahhh, that explains it .... how stupid. We're trying to facilitate a Buyer's request, you know, "Enhance the buying experience" and all that goes with it but can't. I had a similar sale earlier this year except It happened AFTER the auction ended, the Buyer messaged and said they lived nearby and could they come and pick it up? Sure I said BUT could not change the shipping method after the sale ... I was able to find the Local pick up choice (if memory serves) but it would not let me change it ...
