Transaction cancelled per buyers request then buyer leaves negative feedback

I had someone with purchased an item in December 22 and wanted guaranteed delivery by December 26th. If could not guarantee delivery by December 26th then I was asked to please cancel the transaction.  I sent a message telling the buyer I could not guarantee delivery by December 26th and refunded the money. Then I receive an email telling me to mail it that night and the buyer should received it in time. I told the buyer we live in a small town and our post office closed  at 4:30. Then I was told by the buyer to go ahead and send the item and if it was not received in time I could refund the money. I told the buyer I would not do that since I would be out the item and the postage. I had already refunded the money. The buyer harassed me for 3 days about the item. I finally just ignored the messages. I answered the first 12 or so after that I ignored the buyer. Well they left me negative feedback today.

I would contact eBay and make sure you bypass the automated bot response and opt for a call back by an agent to explain the issue. Have the agent put in the request for you to refute the customer’s unhinged response and have the negative feedback and any cancellation ding removed from your account. The agents can look at the message trail to see how this person harrassed you repeatedly.  Then block that person so they no longer harass you.
