Top Rated Status Postal Upload

On my main selling account, I have top rated status, but just got an email that I may lose it in October because of late uploading of tracking.  What happened was Fourth of July Weekend I went away, and Monday July 3rd was a normal postal day, but didn't upload the tracking until July 5th.  It was a one time thing, but unfortunately, I had 3 sales over that weekend, so it counted as my first 3 late uploading. (the people got their items on time, because I sent them all out Priority instead of the stated parcel select, so that wasn't an issue).

My question is, when I look at where they evaluate, it seems to only go back 3 months.  Is the top rated status for postal upload based on the past 3 months, or the last year?  If it's based on the last 3 months, the July 4th weekend problem I had will just come off around October, but it it's based on a year, it may take me longer to make the 95% back (It's at 91% with the 3 sales July 4th Weekend.

LOL, it never fails, I am so good with uploading and sending out, but I take one long weekend and get punished by ebay, even though the people got their shipments early!  And of course, I rarely get 3 sales in a day, but it had to happen the one day I coundn't upload tracking on time.  LOL.

The lookback period might vary depending on your sales volume.  Mine is one year.  The only way to have avoided the late shipping would have been if your customers would have taken the time to mark that they received the item by the date promised.  Very few customers will do that, but sometimes if you ask, they will.  It is too late now.

As long as you are losing it Octpber, I'd go in and change to 3 day handling and a 14 day return.  You might as well get some type of benefit for losing it.  Enjoy the break.

Truth is, now that they lowered the savings from 20% to 10% anyway, it's almost not worth the hoops they make us jump through anymore.
