All items bought today (and has NEVER happened before) all indicated buyer choose Priority Mail option but it did not collect the money!?! What happened EBAY?

This has been happening to me for a few days on my store but not on my regular account. Some programmer must have screwed something up. It is just one of those helpful defaults that they add which creates more work for us.

I saw that also, I just made the changes of how I was going to ship and moved along.

Did you put weight & dimensions in when listing?
If not I think sometimes eBay just defaults to what it thinks is right.
I see "buyer selected" on my "free shipping" listings.
If I hover on the shipping that eBay says "buyer selected" I get more info displayed.

Mine is doing it too. The dimensions are auto-filled and won't allow me to change it.
I'm just switching to 1st class, enter the weight, pretend the dimensions are correct. 1" X 1" X 1"

Hi. You're not the only one with this issue. There are are least two other posts regarding this problem, including a post I made yesterday. This morning I discovered that if you use the bulk shipping tool, it defaults properly to the First-Class option, so perhaps you could use that for the time being until this gets fixed. The only potential caveat is I don't believe there is a way to have it print the "shipping receipt" portion that you can optionally print with the single labels. But as long as you don't need that, you can print even one label with the bulk tool. Here's a link to the tool: https://ebay.com/bulk.labels

Another minor example of the lack of any peer review or QA in their website coding. That should read "its closest equivalent" above, with no apostrophe.

Same here. Not going to pay $7 plus dollars to ship an item that was always shipped first class. Can anybody that is a bigger seller get to Ebay on this issue?

I had the same happen, saying the buyer chose priority mail envelope for a bunch of cds I had as a lot. I only offer media mail, and no way were all those cds going to fit into an envelope. I did notice on the left of the page it reflected the correct shipping method, so took a screenshot, bought my media mail postage on paypal and then sent a confirmation to the buyer (as I always do) letting them know the package was on its way via media mail.
