Tired of buyers who pull the trigger prematurely

Just venting.

Every so often a case is opened by a buyer claiming they did not receive an item, despite tracking showing otherwise.

I really wish they would take the time, instead of wasting mine, to check their premises.

This guy's item was stuck in between other items sitting around the apartment front desk.

The last person who claimed to not receive an item later found out his daughter had taken the package to her room, thinking it was music she had bought.

It seems many are in a hurry these days.  Frustrating, I know.  Buyers can buy first, then do their buyer's due diligence, and ask for a cancellation.  As you note, they can open a case prematurely.

So this is similar to buying prematurely, in that filing an INR before checking is also acting prematurely.

But sometimes people do things in ways that aren't the proper order~in your cases, filing before actually checking to be sure.

Sorry, that can just be the way it goes.  Good luck.

This is why the first thing you do is ask your buyers to carefully look around when they claim their order never arrived . One time a buyer of mine claimed she never received her package although the tracking number was marked '' delivered '' .  She sounded very honest about it  and I believed her . Turns out she was being truthful . Her area had recently had a bad wind / rain storm . She finally found her small package  hiding under a pile of wet leaves on her porch . Mystery solved !  🙂  Tulips

I have to say, that as a seller if this is the most important thing you need to vent about, (a buyer losing a package, then finding it) you are darn lucky!

Never understood why they bother if tracking says otherwise, it's about the only protection we still have, do they really think any seller is going to say, " so sorry about that, here's the same item shipped again for you free of charge " Contact your PO, ask everyone in the household, ask your neighbors, failing that SOL, Your responsibility for a safe delivery place.
